FREIGHT FIELD NOTES

Preparing your warehouse listing for freight requests

XDockHub · October 13, 2026

A clear facility listing helps you receive and evaluate work that fits your location and capabilities.

Start with accurate location details. Enter the facility’s street address and ZIP code, and make sure the phone number reaches the people coordinating warehouse work.

Choose the services you actually offer. Cross-docking, pallet rework, and short-term storage can involve different equipment, labor, and space requirements. Be specific about the work your facility accepts.

Describe handling capacity and restrictions. Include useful equipment details and tell customers about freight types or dimensions you cannot accommodate. Avoid broad promises that need to be corrected later.

Publish hours with a timezone. If after-hours service is possible only by agreement, say so. Each offer should still confirm a service window that fits the request.

After review and approval, keep the facility accepting requests only when your team can consider new work. Pausing new requests is useful when capacity or staffing changes.

If you plan to receive online payments through XDockHub, complete the Stripe setup in your provider workspace. Business verification and payout details are collected by Stripe. Test and Live payment setups are separate.
